I can connect my apple watch to the bike+ (hold it up to the top of the screen) before the first workout in a stack. However, every workout after that first one, I hold my watch up to the same place, it tries to connect and then times out. Anyone else have this issue??

Are all of your workouts rides? In my experience, the NFC connection (holding the watch up to the top of the screen) only works for bike rides. For other types of classes (say a strength workout), this isn't supported. Connecting requires you to go into the Peloton watch app. You only need to tap the app icon on the watch, and it will connect with the class you are taking, displaying your heart rate on screen. When taking classes back-to-back, that connection seems to persist.

Yep, I have the same problem and it's super frustrating. If I use the stack the GymKit integration with the Bike+ works for the first class and fails to connect for all others in the stack.
If I ignore the stack and just pick classes back to back it works fine.

I should reach out to support for it and haven't found the time yet.

My watch usually doesn't connect until 2-3 minutes into the first ride. And then regularly disconnects and reconnects a couple times each ride. I stopped using it because I was spending too much attention to the watch and screen.....

I can interface my apple watch to the bike+ (hold it up to the highest point of the screen) before the main exercise in a stack. Nonetheless, every exercise after that initial one, I hold my watch up to a similar spot, it attempts to interface and afterward times out. Any other person have this issue??

Same thing happens to me - I do my first ride and the watch syncs perfectly. Start a new cool down ride right after and no good - watch keeps saying waiting for the Peloton bike. Somehow I got it to work just once - it is frustrating because I like to do the 5 min cool downs and would like to track my heart rate.

It's a known bug with Peloton software. Problem also affects resistance/cadence when using stacks. Soon to be fixed.

Does anyone has an update on this issue? I have the same problem myself, after connecting to the first class, my Peloton Bike+ would not connect to my Apple Watch. The only workaround I've found is to put the Bike+ into sleep mode using the button behind the screen, then power it back on. Once I've done that I can connect to my Apple Watch again for the 2nd class. Quite a hassle.

I did 2 classes today and what I had to do is to End the ride on my watch (scroll down to the end of the work out and hit End or Done - can't remember which one) and that allowed me to start a new bike workout. I did a 30 min ride and then a 10 min cooldown and it worked. It looks like the issue is that Peloton does not completely finishes the ride on the watch so you have to manually complete and then you can start a new workout.
