Bike+ error code B0225

Hi, looks like I’m being sent a replacement bike which will arrive mid January, to be fair the support person was pretty helpful but the troubleshooting wouldn’t fix the issue and when they said I’d have to be sent a new bike I groaned at first wondering how long into 2021 it would take.
Anyway I’m posting this in case anyone’s has miraculously fixed by trying anything that the person didn’t try. By all accounts this isn’t uncommon and they said about 60% of people reporting this error could fix with the troubleshooting,

I’ve had the bike about two months now and earlier this week I turned it on and it said that the resistance wasn’t registering so unplug and try again. That was that and it worked and didn’t think anything of it until today when it happened again. This time when I turned it back on it said I needed to call Peloton support and the error was B0225. I hadn’t got on the bike at this point. We went through a whole raft of unplugging cables recalibrating etc and message still wouldn’t go. Eventually he said we will have to send a new bike but in the meantime you can use it. So I get on the bike and I could hardly move the pedals and when I did there was a real screeching noise. We tried recallibrating again but nothing changed and I’m guessing that was the problem to begin with it’s just as I wasn’t on the bike I didn’t realise.
Has this happened to anyone else and was there anything that made it work or is it stuffed and I’ve just got to sit it out? Thanks

Same story for me. Although mine is working at the moment, it seems as though I can not change the resistance. When I push the red knob in it does create more resistance but only for as long as I hold the knob down. Maybe I'm not doing it right? I noticed the only thing we did not try was a total factory reset. Two different techs told me not to attempt that. Did you try that? Just curious.... What a disappointment after waiting months for arrival!
I got a Bike+ today and am having the same issue. Following the troubleshooting from support didn't do anything, but after recalibrating, the B0225 error went away and I was able to do a class with no issues. Power cycling brought back the "Resistance not responding" but not the B0225 error.

The support person indicated that if the issue doesn't go away I'd need a new frame. Since I can ride without any issues (for now) I'm willing to leave it alone but I'm afraid the B0225 will return.

I'm hoping it's a software issue, which would make sense since I've been able to use the bike without any problems but it's strange that their proposed resolution is a new frame...
Thanks for the replies. I tried again yesterday in the hope something would have updated but no it’s still completely locked. When you start up the bike you can hear the resistance kicking in or powering up but I still can’t turn the pedals at all. Sad face

Have you found a resolution yet, or does the problem still persist?

They had to send me a new bike, I got it about four weeks after reporting the problem. A bit frustrating but I’ve had the new bike around two weeks now, it was literally a new bike, I just had to keep my old screen.
