Hello! Bike+ newbie here. Was wondering if anyone else has a loud kind of motorized humming noise and vibrations whenever changing resistance on Bike+. Haven’t heard many complaints about it but I can’t seem to hear any noise when watching others’ videos on Bike+.

I have the first gen bike and I have an issue with the ball bearings. Peloton knew exactly what it was and since I was one month outside of my warranty they wanted me to pay for a repair on their faulty manufacturing.

I talked to support and they said it was normal but I have watched a number of videos that do not have this same problem. I also contacted sales and asked if the Bike+ is supposed to make noise because it is digital and motorized now and they said no so I’m kind of getting mixed signals.

Yes. I have a Bike+, and while I wouldn't say it's loud, when you change the resistance knob, you do hear a slight mechanical noise near the flywheel. I believe it's the magnets moving, but not sure. Doesn't bother me and seems normal?
