Hi
Thanks for reading my message
My bike arrived a couple of days ago and I noticed a loudish scraping noise which has got better but I can still hear a slight noise each time the wheel turns.

should the bike be absolutely quiet or should I expect a little noise?

Speaking for the Bike+, at high cadence you might hear a slight "whhhirrrr"-ing sound as the flywheel rotates. Also you'll hear a small mechanical sound whenever you change the resistance (magnets moving). Loud scraping sound doesn't sound normal though. If the sound has gotten better with use, maybe something got gunked up in the works and it's slowly "relieving" itself of the problem?

It should not be doing that. It should be quiet. It is most likely the bearing on the flywheel. Same thing happened to me, but it didn’t start until about 6 months in. Just call support. They will have you send them a video and the will get it fixed.

Hello,

I had the scraping noise especially when resistance was raised to 60 range. I was able to resolve it myself, otherwise I had to wait sometime to have a Peloton technician come over. Here’s a short video clip and password. The magnet on the flywheel needs adjusting....
Good Luck.
Please refer to this video that demonstrates how to properly do so:
password: MEtech

Tools: Philips Head screwdriver (to remove water bottle holder), 3mm hex key
