CNET did a nice comparison of the two. In my opinion, for most people I would recommend getting the Bike+. Peloton seems to have worked through most of the quality issues they had at launch and the newer hardware is likely to last longer and work better as they add new features.

I'm still using the old one for now but expect to upgrade before too long. One thing I am expecting is that my output will be lower once I make the switch.

My major issue with the Bike + is the screen vibration at higher cadence. It's bad, it appears to be a design issue that will not be easily fixed. The screen is bigger, heavier, and cantilevered out further than the original, and once you get some sympathetic vibration going, its quite bad

They've replaced the sleeve (made no difference) and our now coming to replace the handlebar and post - I've asked if these parts were redesigned to address this issue, but have not heard back.

I like other aspects of the Bike + over the original, but it feels poorly engineered and cheap in this regard
