I am clearly seeing WAY more reported problems with outputs all over the place with the Bike+. Either this is recent event or simply people being more vocal about it. I'm wondering if Peloton F'd with the output algorithm again. If you haven't already cleared the different cache's in the OS, the only suggest would be to a factory wipe to clean up excess garbage data and start fresh. Factory wipe is easy and all your data is stored in the cloud. You only need to log back in with the primary owner's email and everything comes back. See if that makes a difference.
Different output same cad/res is our Bike+ a lemon?
I have a weird bike + calibration issue and was wondering if anyone has experienced similar.
We attempted an exchange for our year old bike to bike + (still have the old bike as xpo has dropped the ball five times).
Like others we noticed our numbers dropped which is fine if the output was consistent.
The other day in the middle of a ride 40res 50cad felt like a ton and my output was ~250. Zero resistance yielded 90watts. Not right. Calibrated after the ride and it seemed fixed. Our numbers have been all over the place though.
Today I did a test. 100cad 35res.
First 100cad 35res=108watts
-Calibrated
Second 100cad 35res=120watts
-30min ride
Third 100cad 35res=133watts.
This doesn’t seem right. Is our new bike a lemon?
I’m tempted to return our bike plus. The main reason we wanted it was more accurate numbers.
