Recently moved tread and error code T0222 is showing up. Called peloton said they’d send someone out. Tech came out with no replacement parts and said I needed new handrail and to schedule another appointment. Contacted peloton and they said it could be MCB or handrails so I should order and have another tech come out. Any way to fix this without having to pay for another tech to come out? No longer under warranty. No interest in dropping 1k to fix it. Any help is appreciated.

MCB is a relatively easy repair, just need to be careful getting the board in and out. It's located on the right side of the Tread, deck just forward of the midpoint. Two 2.5mm hex screws hold the cover and 3 or 4 Philips screws secure the board into the frame. When taking out, pull all the cables as far out of the frame as you can to avoid squashing any of the board components or terminals. Lay he old and new boards side by side and move each wire over and clip into the new terminal spot, cutting old zip ties and stringing new ones as you go. When putting it back in, carefully slide the new board into place and then tuck all the cables in and out of the way.

Be sure to unplug and let the Tread sit for a few minutes at least before starting, I think there are some large capacitors involved.

Be aware it might not fix the problem and it costs several hundred dollars, so make sure there is a return policy if it doesn't work.

We recently moved. The movers reassembled our tread and it would not power on. I tore it apart and discovered that the USB-C cable from the handrail to the screen was not routed correctly, and snagged between the handrail and screen mounting arm. (Previous movers stripped the screws that mount the screen to it's arm, so we have to take the whole arm off at the handle bars). I cut out the kinked section and soldered all the wires back together. The tread now powers on, stays on for about 30 seconds, then throws this error: "There is an issue with your tread" "Please unplug your tread and plug it back in. If this error persists, call us" "Error Code: T0222" Any thoughts or ideas for me? I had ordered a new cable prior to splicing and soldering it back together. Hoping the issue is still in that cable and not a secondary issue.
