Got my Bike+ six weeks ago. When I first tried to use the headphone jack, it didn't work, and the sound continued out of the Peloton screen's speakers. Support offered a handlebar swap and I scheduled that. I unplugged and replugged the cables a few times and the headphones worked. So I canceled the support call. A few days ago, the headphone issue reared its head again. I plugged and unplugged the cables a few times and the headphones started working again. Oddly, when I do this, I can always hear the headphone "crackle" in my ears, but for some reason, the audio does not disconnect from the speakers and route to the headphones.

The obvious answer is to reinstate the support call but was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions.

Sorry to hear that. I would definitely have support swap it out. Sounds like your bike likely has a hardware defect of some kind and you're best bet would be to get it addressed while you're under warranty.
