Interesting that Biden has a Peloton and that he may not be allowed to bring it into the White House due to privacy concerns. I've never even used the camera on my bike - seems like a weird feature.

Saw that. Question is: what's his user name? Would love to give Uncle Joe some kudos!

I'd love to know what ride he does. My uncle is 73 years old and rides a basic indoor bike everyday. He is considering a Peloton but would like to know if there are any program designed for seniors so he doesn't over exert himself. I googled and couldn't find anything about what would be appropriate for someone over 70 using a Peloton. Any suggestions or information about a senior safety using a Peloton ? thanks.

Peloton doesn't have any programs specifically for Seniors. If he rides everyday he would probably be OK doing the mellower classes although he might not be able to get in the range the instructors are calling out so may need to adapt like -10 or -15 resistance.
I do think senior specific programs are a big opportunity for Peloton or one of their competitors.

Hi Johnny,
your uncle sounds like a real athlete. He would do great with and original version bike, I wouldn’t recommend the new Bike+ as he would be very disappointed. I am almost 70, have done over 2200 rides and am able to compete well. He should try it!

I agree, more workouts for older members would be very nice. Btw, why do you think he’d be disappointed in the Bike+? I love mine.
Have your Uncle join the tag “septuagenarian”.
I’m new to all of this so I haven’t biked with members of septuagenarian, but I’d think it would be interesting. Still learning here.
