After using the Peloton Bike for several years without subscription in the just ride mode for 1 hour workouts I am finding after the latest software update that the just ride mode now resets after 30mins

Am I alone?

Same problem. Unfortunately I am a subscriber. I reported the problem in an online chat - the agent said that they were aware of the problem and working to fix it. That was two updates ago. I plan to drop the subscription if the problem is not fixed. I can live with the just ride mode and save the bucks. There are several people reporting the problem on various blog.

You are not alone. Same thing started happening to me about 10 days ago. At the 30 minute mark my screen just goes to sleep. Do you happen to know a fix?

I have a subscription, but I prefer the “just ride” mode.

No you are not alone . This is a new problem . It has been reported and Peloton is aware . Touch the screen as it dims and you can continue . The screen is dimming at whatever time you have the Dim with Inactivity set .

Online chatted about the problem 10 days ago. They supposedly are working on the problem. 10 min reset is a real pisser. My problem occurs at 30 min. Tapping the screen just prior to 30 min prevents the sleep mode. There should be a way to reset the sleep timer to at least 30 min. I was on hold for a combined 90 min - gave up and went to online chat.

USER: Screen shuts down after 30 minutes of Just Ride before I am finished. This started happening after the most recent update.

AGENT (Mackenzie H.): We are sorry that you are currently experiencing an issue with your Peloton device. We have forwarded this information to our Engineering team. We apologize, but we cannot promise a definite timeline for a fix for this issue. In most cases, our software fixes are usually distributed during an OTA software update. With this in mind, we recommend regularly updating your device. In an event that the issue has not been resolved, we encourage you to continue to report it to us.

USER: this problem was caused by the most recent update

AGENT (Mackenzie H.): Our Team is aware of this issue. In the meantime, can you please follow the following steps? Go to Settings → Device Settings → Display → Sleep

USER: Now what?

AGENT (Mackenzie H.): Change the sleep time, please.

USER: to what?

AGENT (Mackenzie H.): 30 minutes, please.
