Monitor not going into Sleep mode on last update

Has anyone noticed their Peloton Bike screen not going to sleep after a recent software update? Specifically 2.6.1640? It worked with the prior update. In fact, I did a full reset and while it was on 2.6.1615 it works. As soon as it auto updates to 1640 it stops sleeping on its own. In fact, even pressing the button on top of the screen to force it to sleep does not work - just flashes for a second and kicks you back to the screen. I just got of a chat with Peloton support and they did not really understand the problem and thought it was a hardware problem but I am confident it is software/

Same - does not go to sleep. Have it set to sleep after 10 minutes of inactivity and does not shut off. Any suggestions Peloton? Thank you.
Just chatted with a tech bot. Recommended factory reset, which I’m doing now.
What does a factory reset do to the bike?
same ! I just sent the diagnostic to peloton ..
Same here. So annoying. I assume factory reset doesn't lose any personal data?

Curious whether this works, please let us know!
Factory reset does nothing. It works temporarily until it auto-updates to the last version and the problem is back.

Sets everything to the same state as when you bought it new so you will have to go through the WiFi setup and enter your account info. You do not lose any history or info though as it just downloads from the cloud. The Reset erases all memory and starts from scratch but it does not help here because as soon as you get to the last update again the problem is back.

you do not lose data. Once you re-enter your account info all your workout history is back, but, do not bother as the reset does not fix the problem. It is the latest update - buggy, not your bike I am pretty sure.

I did a reset- twice. It did not fix it once it auto-updates.
I have the same problem. Screen stays on log in mode and does not go into sleep mode. So annoying!!
Are you all turning off your bike in between use? I’m assuming it’s bad to let the screen stay on 24/7.
Same issue here too. Annoying but kinda glad it’s clearly a software update issue & not my bike!
Same issue for me. I am doing a full shutdown so the screen is not ruined. Very annoying though. Hope a new software update fixes this.
