I got my bike this last Christmas (best gift ever!) so since Jan 1 I have completed 219 rides. I'm a 53 female in good shape. My PR for a 45 minute class is 363 and for the last few weeks my numbers have gone down, and when I say down I'm lucky to break 300. I'm getting a good workout, heart rate is up, puddle of sweat on the floor :)
My husband says I'm overdoing it and I need to rest. It's frustrating that I'm not coming close to my PR numbers. Is something wrong with my bike or is it me? Anyone else feel this way?

Hi,
There are a few possibilities that come to mind.
1) You are overtraining and need to mix in more rest and/or low impact workouts. Do you do hard rides most days of the week? It might be worth taking it a little easier and mixing in other workouts to see if that helps.
2) You may have hit a plateau which is normal although it's a little odd that your down ~80% from your PRs.
3) Your bike's calibration may be changing and you're getting less credit for the same amount of work. The original Bike (not Bike+) has less consistent calibration than the Bike+ which recalibrates itself digitally.

I know it can be annyoying but I wouldn't worry too much about the numbers if you're getting a good work out, feeling better and seeing results:)

I am 55 and have had the same issue. I have not gone up on my score in fact went down 1 point after completing the spring pz challenge. I do the workouts as stated staying in zones. I thought it may be age? I have pulled back and only work out 4 times a week (not loving that) but no change. How does one recalibrate ones bike?

When are the instructors going to start instructing on the bike+? I think they need a leaderboard for standard pelotons and one for plus bikes. I have had both and I know
how to calibrate the old one and the plus is definitely harder. I know people say as long as you get a good workout is doesn't matter, but if you are competitive on the
leaderboard, it does matter
