New Bike+ Crashed and is now dead

I upgraded to the new Bike+ and sold my old bike. Bike+ got delivered yesterday. Everything was fine till it asked if I wanted to install the software update. Once the bike finished the update, I got a message.....There is an issue with your device Error code X01TPZ001. Call support. I called support and we tried to reset without any success so they are going to replaced the whole bike now(have to wait another 7days for delivery). Curious if any one else has seen this issue or error code. Thanks.

Wow, that's brutal. What a pain. I wonder if this is a sign that the new bike is buggy?
Same issue here. bike+ delivered yesterday and have same error code today. On the phone with tech now, unable to troubleshoot over the phone so they’re sending a technician.
Same thing just happened to me after my first ride..... first it said I needed to unplug and plug back in. Got that message twice then the dreaded error code X010TPZ001 but when I called the number in the screen with the error message it says they’re closed until tomorrow. I will be at work unfortunately ..... not happy by any stretch of the imagination 😡
Hello I just received my bike+ yesterday and I received this error code as well X01TPZ001. I was able to troubleshoot by calling after I attempted to troubleshoot myself first. I have uploaded a YouTube Video on how I fixed this issue, in hopes This can save time for someone else. If you search the error code on google my video Comes up.
Wow! I am glad I am not alone on this one. The service techs literally pulled out of my driveway after hitting the button to update the software and I got the same error code. I just tried above fix and it seemed to work for 10 seconds until the screen went gray again. The techs came back 2 minutes later because I called them and they said they don't know what is wrong. They called customer service who said they would call me to set up a tech appointment. They refused to take the bike back with them. I then spent 2 hours on the phone last night with different people from Peloton. They said they will replace the bike... I was first offered Oct 31st and then October 21st as a replacement date. This is completely unacceptable. I am a new Peloton owner and this is not a way to get started as a customer. Fortunately, they won't charge my for my monthly subscription for this month... like they're doing me a favor!

Same thing happened to me today. Bike was delivered. I had no issue entering my Wifi and getting connected but that was as far as I could get. Screen went Gray and I got the error code. 1 1/2 hours on the phone with Peloton could not fix the issue. Having to wait on a service tech to call to set an appointment. Has anyone received a new bike (plus) that has worked? Not happy and if not addressed quickly I will be returning and going to another option.

This fix didn’t work for me either. I did manage to speak with support this evening. They diagnosed my bike as being the problem so this Friday AM they are coming to replace the bike but I will keep the same screen. Apparently something with the bike is keeping it from communicating with the screen. I will be sure to do a full test ride before they leave....

New member here... I ordered my first Peloton product, a Bike+, on 9/9 and it's supposed to be delivered on 10/10 so I don't even have it yet. Needless to say, seeing this thread has me a bit concerned. Did all of the failures listed occur as part of a software update? Was WiFi being used or have problems been experienced with hard-wired network connections as well?

my software was up to date and I use WiFi. My first ride went off without any problems. When I dismounted and turned monitor for some floor exercises that’s when my problem occurred. Apparently my bike is the problem according to Landon in support. So for now I will ride and use Peloton/Apple TV for inspiration although I’ll be guessing at the settings. Gotta stay in the saddle ..... 😃

I called last night and they are coming this Friday. Keep in mind that I live 20 minutes from a Peloton Store and warehouse though ...
I'm getting my bike+ delivered in 3 weeks to replace my bike that I've had for a month. These posts have made me nervous that there is a huge problem. Has anyone gotten the bike+ and had no such problems?
My Bike + was delivered today and the same exact thing happened. I tried the fix twice, but no luck. I'm waiting for customer support now... this is utterly ridiculous.

Got mine yesterday at noon. Two rides last night and hubby did one this morning. I went to do a class at about 10 and bam.. error. Customer service wait was normal and I had a great rep who was sorry for the struggle. He walked me through a few things and nada. He had me report a bug report and said wait 24 hours and see if there is a bug fix because there was some update trying to load- the issue is that others with this error can see that update, but it never completed itself. Do you all se that it’s “doing” an update?

No - in fact, customer service already sent in a request for a new bike so I need to wait for that. It certainly does seem like a bug relating to that update, though!
