I noticed this week with the arrival of the most needed "pause" functionality in on-demand sessions that a change to the leaderboard progress algorithm has been made: instead of showing the actual progress of my previous runs, the progress for those previous runs is now simply a linear progress with rate = "total output of the run * fraction of session time so far". In other words, the same algorithm that is shown in the small Performance Record row.

I work exclusively with filters = Just Me + All Times so that I can have a baseline during my ride. I repeat the same ride often. This worked well when in the leaderboard what was shown was the actual progression for each run. The new linear interpolation does not make sense as a baseline.

I can understand why this change: implementing the linear interpolation is dead simple and does no require savings lots of data points for each run, but this is still a big bummer.
