The way I see it. Everyone has the opportunity to keep pushing if they want. If Leaderboard is your goal, push hard the entire workout, beat your personal goals and push until the timer reaches zero.... If you want to follow the instructor, stay in their recommended cadence, that's cool too....But you won't be hitting the top of the leaderboard. There is such a wide range of skills and ability, it would be silly to assume that someone who is super fit needs to keep the same cadence and output as me, who has 3 rides under my belt. If someone doesn't like people rocketing higher on the leaderboard....and you want to be there...go for it!
