Hi all,
Just curious that Peloton is still not available in the Republic of Ireland and if I buy in the UK can I use it in the Republic of Ireland and connect to the real-time classes?

Maybe you can online!
Yes, I'm pretty sure you can. I can join live classes in the UK from the US so you should be able to join any live classes.

Hi - I know this is an old thread but I have exactly the same question and was wondering if you managed to purchase and use in ROI or got a definitive answer either way?
We tried to order and couldn't change the delivery address to a non-UK one.
Thanks!
Hello,

I am asking again the above question if it could be answered?

Many thanks.

It should not be any problem in case of streaming the courses from a different location. You do not need a VPN.

Thanks for that. But the website will not allow me order to Ireland. My sister lives in the UK. Ordering to her address and shipping over could be a possibility I think. Would warranty be effected though is the problem then.
True, anyhow usually things go wrong after warranty expires. You need to somehow transport it / ship it yourself from an adress in the UK, that is true.

This was my concern. Arranging for delivery to a friend in the UK and onward shipping is a possibility for me too but it is a lot of money to spend with no guarantee you are going to be able to join the classes.
I would say no big risk to be able to join classes, it just works. However the transport is a an effort that needs to be solved. I would drive over and pick it up. One time effort. Then its done and you can enjoy the rides :)

I spoke with Peloton about this exact issue as I am looking to buy one and ship it to Ireland. Do use their webchat service as they respond quite quickly.
Summarizing: They do not ship to Ireland, they ask you to sort it out yourself. I'm thinking in using AddressPal from An Post, as it allows you to ship something to the UK and deliver in Ireland.
There is no warranty in Ireland so it becomes void. They did not say there was any issues connecting to the live classes from the UK so I assume it isnt an issue.
@cmd105 how did the investigation go into AddressPal?

Did you work out what the addressPal shipping would cost?

Didnt look into it further as I would have no warranty. I purchased the Nordictrack s22i instead.

How are you finding that, can you join classes with that one?
Has anyone scouted out a specific timeline for Peloton’s plan to launch in ROI? (If at all?) I’ve considered the roundabout way of having it delivered to the U.K., but I’d be nervous to risk set up / any potential challenges while on warranty because my mom in the States has had a few issues with her bike in the past and CS has resolved them/sent someone out to help. Every time I google it, I’m sent to this forum or the Global page that has no actual information on future release dates.
Just chatted to customer support and they have no information regarding when they'll start delivering to Ireland. I did tell them that they have a ton of US expats and Irish people looking to buy bikes. And included a friendly reminder that Northern Ireland and Ireland are on the same island.

I tried to download the PeloSchedule APP in Ireland and it was blocked. It is possible with a VPN BUT ‘problem trying to connect to server error’ message even with VPN. Would suggest waiting until it is available and supported properly.
I’ve hand mine in Dublin since the summer with no problems . They actually fulfill Northern Ireland orders from Dublin. ! I used a friends address in Belfast and when they called about arranging delivery I asked could I come to collect it in Dublin . 20 mins later it was home and an hour later it was running in the spare room. It’s been amazing getting probably on average 15 uses a week across the family and 2 of my friends have got them since. The app thing is annoying but I’m just logged into the web page on the browser on my phone so not big deal . It’s the best purchase I made this year !!
