I'm looking at one as a Christmas present for my wife (and me!!) and thanks to folks for the good info here.

Would love to know the experience of going through deliverme particularly with their rather low insurance payout if things go wrong? A rough cost would be super, I have emailed them myself and will share when I get a response. What courier forwarded it onwards? If the delivery route goes from Dublin to NI, are we liable for customs? I'm factoring customs charges into my budget but woild be great to confirm!

Thanks in advance!

Morning everyone.

Just following jump here on all the input. From what I am seeing the only option is ordering the Peleton and delivering through deliver me or UK address. For those who went through the deliverme.ie process, was there any duties or excise. Please note I am not trying to avoid but wondering what to budget.

Thanks for all the input, you are helping me with a tough decision, Paleton vs NT, and the horror stories of NT are something i am trying to avoid.

I ordered a Bike+ at the weekend. I am having it delivered to a residential address in the north and will then pick it up and bring it home to Dublin. The sales rep told me that this does not void the warranty, but the bike is registered to the delivery address so if I were to have issues down the line any parts or servicing would be directed to the delivery address which is clearly problematic but one I'm going to take a chance with. One thing to note - the bike is apparently delivered assembled, aside from the screen so I'm gonna need a van to transport it. Also, a residential address and a +44 phone number are required for delivery.
Hi Mark,

I hope you're enjoying your Peloton+!

You mentioned an alternative method of having it delivered to Dublin.
Can you share the details please?
Thanks

HI Hadur,

Did you proceed with your order with DeliverMe? If so, how did it go? Any input you can share?
We've been using the app with a spin bike and loving it, now we want a Tread but want the full experience!
Ready to pull the trigger, but curious to understand how it has worked out

In case anyone is interested, Peloton have ceased delivery of the Tread to Northern Ireland.
They do not know when they will resume delivery.

The only other option is having family in London ship one back.

Or....is NordicTrack really that bad???!

I’ve hand mine in Dublin since the summer with no problems . They actually fulfill Northern Ireland orders from Dublin. ! I used a friends address in Belfast and when they called about arranging delivery I asked could I come to collect it in Dublin . 20 mins later it was home and an hour later it was running in the spare room. It’s been amazing getting probably on average 15 uses a week across the family and 2 of my friends have got them since. The app thing is annoying but I’m just logged into the web page on the browser on my phone so not big deal . It’s the best purchase I made this year !!
Hi Munkytennis, I just purchased my Bike+ using a friends address in Northern Ireland but the App is not available in ROI, I am based in Dublin. How did you get around this?
Thanks.

hey just wondering how it’s working out. Any issues at all with the bike?? Really thinking about getting one, just hesitant. I’m guessing it’s not under warranty here if anything breaks? Also wondering how much the delivery charge was from deliverme.ie
It was 250 eur for them to accept and deliver to Dublin address. Seemless, they delivered day after receiving.
