It’s a matter of weeks or months but Peloton will have to lower the price of the Tread+ ! 4295 vs 2495 for the new Tread ... and the Tread+ is not even compatible with GymKit.
I understand they want to sell more Treads+ for a while at full price ... but it seems to me that they should adjust the price for the Tread+ NOW.

I bet they'll lower the price when the new one comes out similar to what they did with the old bike. I'm glad they announced the new Tread ahead of time so people can factor that in when deciding which equipment they want to purchase.

Yes, but it would be even nicer if the people can decide which one to buy knowing the final prices for the 2 treads, after the discount. And by the way, wouldn't be fair for the runners to have the discounted prices as the cyclists have it ?

Yes, that's a good point. When people need to decide which product(s) they're going to buy for thousands of dollars each it would be nice if they were fully transparent even if that resulted in delayed purchases.
