I am relatively new to Peloton with roughly 75 rides. I find I am usually in the top 15% of the class so do push it somewhat. I have noticed that I am getting possible nerve damage in my right foot with a numbness in the outside three toes which carries on throughout the day and longer. I am trying to pay attention to the issue and notice that i am curling my toes when riding, (don't know if this is cause or affect) i generally wear a 12 EEE or a 13 E shoe and currently have a 13 riding shoe which i believe is a medium. Should I be tightening the toe area tighter? Should i get wider shoe? should i get a stiffer sole? have always loved riding but don't know were this is coming from.
Thanks in advance for the info!

I've heard others complain about this. A few tips:
-make sure you aren't strapping the shoes too tight
-try wiggling your toes periodically during the ride (sounds weird but helps with circulation)
-try relaxing your toes and feet completely and do a low impact ride without trying too hard and see if you still feel it

If none of those work you may need better fitting shoes. Curling your toes doesn't sound good - I'm guessing your shoes may be too tight.

Thanks for the info. I currently don't strap the front of my shoe at all to allow as much room as possible. Will likely have to get a new pair of shoes, but really don't know anything about the stiffness of the sole and what difference it makes or if I would even need it. (or how stiff my current pair is)
