Scenic rides......where did they go and when are they coming back?

Looks like they're gone and no sign that they're coming back. Only 33 scenic rides now and no leaderboard.

I couldn't believe it when I got on my bike this AM. Where did all my saved scenic rides go? No leaderboard on a crappy Santa Monica boardwalk ride and no option for cool downs or stretches. Called Customer Service and was told, yes, they'd removed a lot of scenic rides but will be adding new ones. But no ETA on when that might happen. I am so p*ssed! I bought this bike primarily for the scenic rides and now my choices have been cut by 2/3 or more. Very unhappy Peloton.

We just bought a Peloton mainly because we liked the Scenic Rides with the Leaderboard. Now we understand that the number of Scenic Rides have been reduced and there is no longer a Leaderboard. NOT HAPPY! If we would have known this, we would have considered another company. We hope Peloton listens to their costumers and reinstates this option.

I DM them on twitter and they said the scenic rides aren't available thru the app, only thru the bike or treadmill. But I have a bike and I still can't find the old ride options even though they say they should be in your history. Maybe they mean your stats are still in history? Either way I'm with you, I am totally p*ssed that I don't have my lovely scenic rides and leader board any longer.

Was great to jump on a do a quick 30 min spin on one of the scenic rides but they all seem to be gone - where did they go and when are they coming back!?!

I have purchased 5 bikes for myself and/or family members.....the ONLY feature I used was scenic rides and leaderboard. Then one day, no notice, Peloton makes makes my $10k investment worthless to me. I literally can't believe that a company would do that. I have taken ZERO classes (my family members have done some). Unbelievable. FOR SALE: Peloton Bikes with *NEW UPGRADED Software.....enjoy !!

That’s ridiculous and very bad. Peloton management should be aware of our discomfort with their rash decision and reverse it. I wonder if they had a copyright issue?

At previous forum member suggestion....I called... they said they are working on getting it put back in......many folks have called them.....we need to keep it going !!

Completely agree. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Took me a while to realise the scenic rides had been purged. I assumed I’d applied some sort of filter. Then discover the leaderboard has gone too. Why??? I wanted to do a quick 20 min HIIT, but have no measure of how I compared to previous times. Lost motivation and pretty much gave up. So angry about this, and bless my lucky stars I can still ride a real bike. Unless Peleton sort out this sensless vandalism of their own product, I will not use it. Certainly have no inclination to use it in its current, un-motivating form. Feel embarrassed that I recommended it to my friends.

I couldn’t find any of the old scenic rides and I looked really hard🤔

This is a huge mistake by Peloton and my bike will be going up for sale if they dont bring the rides back. I was already thinking that my investment was bad considering after 2 years they had not added any new rides - so then when the update arrived I got excited until I found out they REMOVED rides and killed the leaderboard, which was my sole motivation (to beat myself time after time).

Now if I want to know how I am comparing to a previous ride I have to do a mental math calculation in my head based on the time remaining and my current output - not something I want to do at 160+ heart rate!

My bike will be going up for sale if this doesnt get fixed.

I've been told the ride options are gone, but our workout histories remain. BFD. Peloton has really pissed off a good chunk of their base - just not the biggest part of the cult (the class-takers)

I miss my scenic ride leaderboard. Is there a way of getting peloton to bring back this feature?
I suspect this change is a way for Peloton to maximize the monetization of their platform.

I just have a hard time understanding how this is the case. We were already paying for a membership, and there should be no additional cost involved for it to be there vs not be there to Peloton. So if I am already paying, what does it matter if I am watching a class or riding scenic? Peloton already has my money.

The difference is now if they dont give me the feature back - they are going to lose my money when they certainly didn't have to change anything and could keep it.

Agreed! They threw the baby out with the bath water.

if you can, hit peloton with your feedback on twitter as well - need to create awareness of the features that have been removed in "upgrade"!
