I feel his pain, my feet look like Fred Flintstone’s… I usually wear 12.5-13 shoes, which I think are 45-46 UK size. I have to wear 47 for the bike

You can use any bike shoe you find. Look around in the bike stores you just have to put the correct cleat on the bottom.

He must be very tall. Ask around in stores, any that will fit his leg and bike will do.
