Spotify

I just started riding on my new Peleton.
Music so far is not great, so looking at possibly getting a Spotify account to ride to own music.
I understand I get a Spotify account to add my music and link to it via my Peleton bike.
What can I ride to using Spotify - all classes/scenic routes?
Any other hints and tips would also be helpful
Thanks :)

Hi. For the studio classes I don't think you can listen to your own music and also hear the instructors. You could listen to your own music on the "just ride" or scenic rides but you could just use your own headphones/mobile - you don't need to use the bike.

The way I and most people use Spotify is that if you are on an on demand ride it tells you what song is playing and if you hit a button it adds it to a Peloton playlist on Spotify. I actually use this feature a lot.

What kind of music do you like? There is a lot of variety so it may just be a matter of finding the right genre and instructor.
It also works with Apple music. Here's a blog post on it. One thing I do a lot is look at the playlists before I pick what ride I'm going to do. Also, after a while you figure out which instructors pick music that you like.
In fact, we can connect Peloton music to your Spotify account and listen to Peloton music via the Spotify player. It's not to sync Spotify songs to Peloton Bike. There is a 'Music' option on your Peloton bike. Or you can try to download Spotify songs as your own files with the help of Spotify Song Downloader. After that, you can listen to Spotify music on Peloton bike. I don't know whether I understand well, if I make a mistake, please let me know.

I have a Spotify Music Converter. Is it the same thing as the downloader you mentioned? I usually use it to download Spotify playlist to MP3. But how can I import them to my Peloton bike?
As a matter of fact, I have answered such issues in another post on the Peloton forum. Let me explain it again here.
Yes, Peloton supports adding streaming services to it, including Spotify and Apple Music. What will it do for you?
After you linking Spotify to Peloton, you can sync Peloton Music playlists to your Spotify account. The Peloton Music is what you save favorite songs by hitting on a heart icon while workout.
But it doesn't mean that you can play Spotify on Peloton bike. If you want to listen to Spotify music on Peloton Bike, you need to draw support from a Spotify Music Converter to download Spotify songs and playlists to local common files. And then transfer them to YouTube Music or Google Drive. After that, you can play Spotify on Peloton via YouTube Music or Google Drive. It's a little complicated but it works.
I was disappointed to find out I can't stream music from my Spotify account. Hey, the bike+ should have that option without having to make adjustments. I use my iPhone to play my music from my playlists. It's much easier to skip or pause from my phone. The screen is out of a comfortable reach to be fussing with music while I am riding.
I have to admit this is a pretty significant disappointment with my brand new Peloton treadmill. The screen is essentially just a big Android tablet, and there's most certainly a Spotify app for Android, so why is it a big deal to make this (or other music streaming apps) available on the platform. I admit that, less than a week into owning the treadmill, I'm questioning what the value is over a much less expensive treadmill plus an android tablet and a Peloton class subscription. :/
I usually use Deezer Music Converter to convert audio file.

With a Spotify account, you can link it to your Peleton bike and ride to your own music, whether it's high-energy beats or soothing tunes. The options are pretty much limitless!
I know my reply is a bit late, but I'd like to drop in and say that Spotify is a fantastic choice for adding your music to your rides. With Spotify, you can access a vast library of songs and playlists to keep you motivated during all classes and scenic routes. You can create your own playlists or explore pre-made ones that suit your workout style. Also, if anyone wants to increase their exposure on Spotify and gain popularity, you can consider using reliable providers to buy spotify plays. This can help boost your listener count and potentially attract more attention to your music. And don't forget to check out the curated workout playlists for an extra energy boost!
