I recently upgraded my monitor but for the past few weeks its stopped in the middle of a class, the screen goes white and then says something to the effect that the App is not working. Its been happening more frequently and its almost impossible to speak with a live support person. I went through the online Chat support earlier today and was told to do a "static reset" - basically, while the monitor is off, I unplug it and hold the power button for 30 seconds. It worked for today, but is this something that needs to be done periodically to keep the problem from happening or if it keeps happening does that mean the monitor is defective and needs to be replaced?

Any input would be much appreciated.
