Tread keeps restarting mid run

Hello all, I hope someone can help me. My tread keeps restarting mid run. During the run, the screen goes white and the returns to start profile page. I called Peloton they advised system reset, power cycle but nothing has worked. To be fair Peloton have been very responsive and trying to help and they will come next week to replace the screen. Did anyone have this problem and get it solved?

Having this issue now did the screen replacement fix the issue
The screen replacement did not fix the issue unfortunately. Soon after the new screen was installed the issue happened again. Called the support again and they came out to check. What finally resolved it is moving the peloton a couple of meters and changing to another power socket and doing the calibration again. Really strange. Myself and Peloton support dont know the root cause and why it really resolved itself.

I know the problem and the fix. The problem is the bad design of the power cord going into the base. Repeated raising and lowering of the tread causes the power cord to come ever-so-slightly lose and the tread will shut off briefly and restart. The fix is so easy that I've documented it. Here is your fix. Wrap a layer or two of electrical tape around the tip of the power cord and re-insert.

Any luck @sudi237 ????
Yes sorry meant to reply earlier the guy that mentioned the electrical tape around the power cord advice worked for me haven’t had the issue since. I still had peloton come and troubleshoot and their solution was to hand guard portion of the tread.

Thank you! The electrical tape worked perfectly for me. I still had peloton come out and they want to replace the hand bar portion of the tread.

thanks. Glad to hear the fix worked.
Is it possible to slightly bend the two prongs away from or toward each other so that they contact firmer in the cord? That’s usually worked well for me with lamps and what not where the plug fell out of the wall too easily.
Had a similar issue with our Tread+. Tried the hard reset to no avail. Sure enough, checked the plug (underneath the tread) and it was partially unplugged. I'm sure this will solve the issue.
