Hello - I'm new to the forum. I ordered my Peloton in October, and I still don't have it.
They are now saying the end of February... bummer. But - my sister is actively riding every day and I can't wait to get out there and bike with her! It appears there are a lot of other activities that I'm looking forward to as well. Taking note from my sister, she said start as a beginner and don't go overboard right away. Question - did you get a seat pad, or is the seat sufficient? I did order the shoes (obviously) and 1 pound weights - being the newby and all.

Can't wait for my bike to come to really become active in Wisconsin during the winter, which can be hard.

Welcome!

You can get a gel seat cover if you want to but eventually you probably won't need it. The most important thing is to get some good padded cycling shorts. Your butt will hurt a bit at first but it goes away before long.

If they didn't offer you the app already as complementary for the delay in your shipment you could try that out now as they're doing a 60 day free trial - that way you can try out the other workouts in the meantime.

Did you order a Bike or a Bike+?

Hi Stefon,

So lovely to see your response. I do not have the app yet, as they said it would come when the bike was activated. I will look into that, and thank you for the information. I bought the Bike.

My wife uses a gel seat cover over the bike seat. I do not. I agree with previous poster...invest in very good padded bike shorts. It will hurt at first, but over time your body will adapt.

Other accessories you might want to get. Good absorbant towels (you will sweat a lot), a phone holder, a short USB-C cable to whatever type of charging cable your phone uses (for Bike +), easy to use water bottles, and maybe a fan.

Best of luck. The delivery wait times have gotten pretty bad with all the demand, but it will be worth the wait.
