i have been riding 4-5 times per week, 20-30 minutes at a time, for a month. no improvement in pain. 20 minutes is just about ok, but after the 20 minute mark becomes almost unbearable.

Oh My- I was embarrassed to admit this but It HURTS. I see 10 rides is the magic number as well as padded seats or shorts. I get 20 minutes and have severe chaffing. Again like the sore knee issue I wait a couple days to heal before riding again. What it looks like is if I'm going to do this I need to invest in some padding. More Doughnuts and Nachos for me.
