Why no power port at the front of bike frame…

After all that designand brainstorming?
Why oh why no was power port built into front frame of the bike (and a short power lead supplied) for bikes that face the wall and or window and power source instead of having a long power lead trailing from the back to the front of the bike?
Ruins the visual aesthetic and otherwise nice clean lines…
