I made an assumption and hopefully it's not a horrible one. But this bike I purchased will be shared between my wife and myself. I set up a profile but was wondering now what My wife had to do? What is the best way to manage this?

Yes, you can absolutely have different profiles. As far as I know the number is unlimited although they're supposed to only be people in your household.

I believe you can do it from mobile or web also but I think the easiest way is to turn on the bike and on the screen, you should see an option on the left to "add profile."

and the same for the peleton app? I'm pretty excited to see the peloton app on my smart tv but I can't imagine it's easy to switch between profiles.

Yes, if you pay the $39/month subscription your wife can use the app with her own profile as well and the app works on phones, tablets, computers, etc.

How do you switch between profiles on the app. I see my hubby’s on the app, under MORE -> MEMBERSHIP -> MY MEMBERSHIP I see shared with one other .... I select the > and I see my hubby profile but we can’t switch to his profile It’s not selectable.

Anyone know how to do that?

I don't think you can switch profiles without logging out on a phone, tablet, etc. I think Peloton assumes most people would only have their own profile on their personal device. It is possible to switch profiles on a Fire TV using the app although not on Roku, Apple or Android.

What kind of device are you trying to switch profiles on?

Can anyone explain how to switch profiles on Fire TV? I tried it, but I am not seeing the option. Is this unique to Fire Stick or does it also work on Fire TV? I will buy a Fire Stick if needed, but want to make sure I am not missing something with the Fire TV I already have. Thank you!

My Wife & I are having exact same problem. Were you able to resolve it? We (She) did want to share stats with me...

I don't believe you can switch profiles on the Peloton app on Amazon so you have to sign out and then sign into the other profile which is annoying. One option is to cast to your streaming device from your phone, laptop or tablet. I'm not sure how to do this with fire (may be possible) but if you have an Apple device you can use AirPlay to cast to an Apple TV or a 4K Roku player or TV. If you do this you don't need to log in and another benefit is if you use an Apple Watch it will track your HR.
